In one form or another I’ve held a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember, but somehow I missed the memo on tying my shoes correctly in kindergarten… something about rabbit’s ears and going over or under fences. So I just stuck with my own style. I received the drama award in my senior year in high school. Go figure. I have an obsession for remembering television and movie actor’s names, words to theme songs, and Seinfeld one-liners. I secretly still make mix tapes. I get really annoyed when people talk during movies in a theater or at home. It’s a toss up who I love most: Wes Anderson or the Coen brothers.
So how does this information help you? It’s not all about the camera. I specialize in working with people. I want you to know I’m fun to work with and I will do my best to keep our time together relaxed and stress free. I want your images to be beautiful yet honest and real. One of the best compliments I received from a client is that she felt she had been photographed by a friend.
While living in Portland, Oregon, I opened my business in 1999 and I earned a fine art degree in photography in that order. Along the way I have been fortunate to have some very generous mentors. I’ve met a lot of great brides and grooms, families, kids, models, actors, and even a few pets. And I look forward to meeting you! See my website at www.rhondaforsberg.com for more information.
